19th-Century Railway Station

Step into the golden age of steam with Railway Station – Brickingham, a detailed model inspired by the charming Victorian stations that shaped everyday life across industrial England.

This model was my submission in BrickLink Designer Program Series 9, but it was not selected.

Brickingham is a fictional 19th-century English town where the railways arrived just as the industrial revolution was transforming everything around it. The station became the beating heart of the town — the place where workers, travelers, and curious onlookers gathered daily, drawn by the spectacle of iron and steam.

The building features a platform, a waiting room where travelers can purchase tickets, and a small dispatcher's office. The attic is accessible but used only for storage. Outside, a fountain provides drinking water and a red mailbox stands ready for postcards home. A removable roof and separable floors give full access to the interior.

Railway Station – Brickingham is a tribute to the era when the railway changed everything — perfect for fans of railway models, Victorian architecture and industrial history.
