My Kiosk model is BDP Finalist

I have great news! My model Kiosk has been selected as a finalist in BrickLink Designer Program Series 10. I am super excited and grateful for your support.

I have been submitting my models to BrickLink Designer Program since series 5. I first submitted the Glassworks model, which was my first MOC model ever, and each series I participated in, I was disappointed when my model wasn’t selected. But retrospectively, I think I didn’t deserve to win. I was not ready, my models were not good enough, and now I can see it clearly when I look at my older models. They lack details, depth, structure and story. I can’t say I deserved to win with my Kiosk model in BDP Series 10 – it is up to you to tell – but I am very happy with the progress I make in my work. I can clearly see the progress and I am putting in a lot of effort to make my models better and better.

My dream comes true 🎉

When I found out that I am one of the finalists of the BDP Series 10, I couldn’t believe it and it is still hard to believe it today. It feels like a dream to me. I want to use being the finalist to devote more time to building models, learning new techniques and just to play more with LEGO.

When I look back, I started building my own models just 2 years ago. I had zero followers on Instagram (I still have just a bit over 500), I had zero subscribers on YouTube (and I still have just 57 today), no website, no MOC models. But what I had was a desire to win, so I started to build everything from the bottom. I started to build a base of followers that could support me but most of all I started to work on my skills as a MOC designer. What I want to say is that it is possible for anybody to be a finalist but you have to put a lot of effort into the process. Work hard and keep trying and eventually it will happen.

You can count on me to be back with new designs in BrickLink Designer Program Series 13 (as a finalist, I can’t participate this year again). So stay tuned – I’m working on something big for Series 13. I can’t wait to show it to you!
