My BDP Trophy Arrived 🏆🎉

Last week I received a package from Billund, Denmark with my trophy for being one of the finalists in BrickLink Designer Program Series 10. To my surprise, it came dismantled in a bag with instructions for building it. I had also assumed the tiles with text were stickers, but in fact they are all printed tiles. I was in no hurry to build the trophy model, so I took my time and enjoyed the moment.

Keep improving 🌟💫

While building it, I reflected a bit. I started submitting my models two years ago, with Series 5. I remember being very disappointed when I didn't win, but I came back and submitted new models in Series 6 and Series 7, only to be disappointed again. The change came with Series 8. The moment after I submitted my models for Series 8, I stepped outside. It was late evening and it was dark; the sky was very clear that day and the stars were shining brightly. I was happy and relieved that I had submitted my models, and I wondered whether I could win someday. Then I mumbled quietly to myself, "It's not a matter of if I win, but when, as long as I keep improving my models." Right as I finished the sentence, a star fell from the sky. I just smiled. From that moment on, I believed I would win someday. I knew that if I kept submitting my models and improving every time, I would eventually win. One year later, I am looking at the trophy in my hands. It is an incredible feeling, and I am very grateful.

I want to say thank you to all of you who supported me and my Kiosk model. I am so grateful for each and every one of your votes. Without your support, this wouldn't have happened. I also want to thank the BrickLink team for the wonderful opportunity you give the LEGO community.
